Follow-up Comment #12, task #11408 (project administration):

Foursquare is a collaborative service like Wikipedia; it is not SaaS. The
content that is in part created by its users (one can add venues) is owned by
Foursquare, however.

The license of the OpenTravel Allicance, however, appears to require that
software following the specification must be "individual or proprietary". Thus
it is currently not possible to implement an OpenTravel Alliance connector as
free software. I have documented that in the source code.
