######### REGISTRATION DETAILS #########
Full Name:
----------
gnubarzip
System Group Name:
-----------------
enricopirozzi
Type:
-----
Official GNU software
License:
--------
GNU General Public License V2 or later
Description:
------------
This is a little library written in C developped on a Linux Debian 3.0,
compiled by gcc and debugged by ddd.
This library can be used to compress barcode (I tried it on EAN 13) and can
be very good for embedded system. I've seen a compress ratio about 50-60 % on
38000 pair (barcode, prices). It can be used to archieved barcode and price on
embedded systems.
At the http://www.linuxtime.it/enricopirozzi/gnubarzip-0.0.1.tar.gz you can
find the software, but I still have to write documentation, configure file,
gpl gnu license on all files etc... There are only little pieces of C code,
but fully working.
In this example I extract data from a postgresql table because I must have
data to try but my library can be used reading data from a stand alone file.
Other Software Required:
------------------------
libpq in my examples, but it works also reading pair(barcode, prices) from
file.
