Description:
------------
Project: anetme (Active Network Measurement and Estimation Environment)
anetme is an integrated environment for the active measurement and
estimation of network performance. The environment has been conceived
as a unification, generalization and extension to the set of active
measurement and estimation techniques available to date. It offers
* A unified user interface
* A common programming interface
* Libraries that provide stand-alone implementations for the different
components of a generic active measurement and estimation system.
Some additional info can be gathered from
http://www.imse.cnm.es/~fedemp/abet/anetme.html
anetme is implemented in C++ and licensed under the GNU GPL.
You can check a preliminary source release at:
http://www.imse.cnm.es/~fedemp/abet/anetme-src.preliminary.tar.bz2
Other Software Required:
------------------------
anetme is implemented in C++, using the GNU autotools for the build
system.
No special dependencies aside from a standard C++ library and a C++
compiler (like that of GCC). Actually, I'm only testing with GCC :)
