Description:

  Papyrus is a C++ scene graph library based upon the C library Cairo. At the
current time it is almost a complete replacement for the Gnome::Canvasmm
library. Currently there are no plans to develop a C based version of
Papyrus... but who knows?

Although I'm sure that a C library will eventually be developed to replace
the Gnome Canvas library, this one at least provides a working implementation
and a point to begin discussion.
