FYI.As per the suggestion of Yoshinori K. Okuji I have added a new 'Release' field to the Savannah Bug Tracking System. This field comes in either "Select box" or "Free Text" form and allows you to specify the release (global version number) of your software where the bug manifested itself.
Before that there was only the "Component Version" field which plays the same role but for sub-parts of your software (high level modules)
LaurentPS: for those of you who wonder why it takes so long to Loic and I to officially announce the new bug tracking system on Savannah, you should only blame myself and some obscure administration/communication things to clear out on the Xerox side... Sorry for the delay.
