Given your disdain for standards, I am happy that you have at agreed to use
English as the "standard" language ;-)!

What if the next person who wants to contribute (and thinks like you), is more
comfortable in Chinese? 

This is a collaboration, not a single-person project. In a collaboration, we
need to respect each other, and the conventions that are already in place. We
need some basic (very low-level) conventions to collaborate constructively.

If you are uncomfortable with a convention, you can define that as a "task"
and others will consider it. We may indeed change an aspect if you have
compelling reasons.
