Right at the top there is a list that tells you where to look for what.

I imagine you mean "Inside ranger, you can press 1? for a list of key bindings, 2? for a list of commands and 3? for a list of settings." That's what I'm trying to replace.

See, I've been to the man page a lot, but as I was looking for specific information and not a thorough overview (as most people, I expect, will do) I did not read *gasp* all three paragraphs. Hence it was so late for me to find it. This sort of information needs to be very transparent to prevent discovery through accident like I have.

So, no, I do not accept this compromise ;).
