But "quilt applied" displays the top patch at the bottom :-) and I think 
that if you reversed the order it would cause even more confusion. 
Especially when you modified "quilt series" and "quilt patches" for 
consistency.  It's all a bit of a muddle and the best solution will be 
to create an icon where it doesn't matter which way is up.
