Does anyone have any idea of a use-case involving variables ? My only
idea is that you would like to define DISPLAY if you want to run a task
using X11. Apart from that, I don't see how it's useful.
My idea is that the possibility to define a variable should be provided
by the task type plugins. If a plugin needs to allow users to define a
variable it should be able to. But if the plugin doesn't need it, users
shouldn't be able to define variables. We should anyway have a generic
plugin which would allow users to define a command and variables. But
other plugins should be more restrictive (to avoid facing users with
complex concepts).
