some food for thought...

Users will always come along (thinking the world revolves around them) and
wonder why something is not called what they're used to working with in their
respective milieus.  Perhaps taking the thesaurus approach early on may save
needless requests later.

For example, in the place of "test".. people may want "quiz" (it's less
"threatening" and touchy-feely PC) ... others may want "assessment"... still
others may prefer "examination"  Why not let them choose what they'd like to
call it?  It will save a lot of dogs with sore ribs.

on "subject".... some may prefer "skill"... others "topic"... still others
"discipline" or some other academic rationale... there's no accounting for what
people will whine about...
