[Phpgroupware-users] filemanager: do not want user-home-directories

is there a way to prevent the filemanager of phpgroupware to create a
home directorey for each user, who has rights to add files? because i
need directories for some groups, where they can share some files. 

or: is there a way to change the default directory for the filemanger 
users so that if i click on the filemanager icon then i will come the
default directory instead of getting the user's home directory? because
some of my users will not be familiar to the concept of home directories
for each user.
