I had this same problem it turned out to be that in my php INI file I configured
session.cookie_domain =
To my domain, but the computer that was connecting to the server would look up a
different IP for the name I put here.  So it would not let me login.  I Imaging 
from
Konqueror they have cookies disabled or something of that nature so it is 
useing the
URL passing abilities.

I hope this helps, my deal was I was building a replacement server and I 
configured
it exactly like the real server so when I connected nothing worked.  A work 
around I
did was put the name in my local /etc/hosts file.
