I just submitted patch 934 on savannah as an update to Hsing-Foo's patch 912.
This updated patch works for 0.9.14.001.  It also includes a fix to the
cron to handle daylight savings time correctly.

Can you please post this as a patch on savannah ... i will get ralfbecker to check it and maybe add it to HEAD when he is back.
