Re: [Paparazzi-devel] Piksi + Paparazzi

:-)

the video was supposed to show full hands-off auto2 flight of:

 - take-off and climb to 30m, move to landing location
 - smooth descend, not moving laterally even this close to trees and with a lot of turbulence (you can see the variation in wind by the variation in pitch needed to stay at one spot)
 - automatic landing within the inner circle (with non-intended but harmless somersault)
 - flight with 200 gram payload
 - delivery of the payload 2m in front of a building (do not try this at home with your normal GPS)

and all of that in the presence of >10m/s gusting wind and turbulence behind trees and buildings.

This might have been more obvious by showing also video from other participants ;-)

The drone seemed to be flying out of control.  Does this show that the Piksi was not working?

Hello. I have received 2 active GPS antenas today, the ones recommended on the piksi page. I will retest this week and take note of the performance.

Hello Alonso

Out of curiosity, have you played with your Piksis using the software provided by the manufacturer? if yes, what kind of performances do you get (accuracy, time to first fix, etc...) and what antennas do you use?

Hello Piotr, are there any news on the integration of Piksi with Paparazzi? I have received my Piksi but don't know where to start in getting it to work with Paparazzi. I have a Lisa/M

Thanks
