Unfortunatelly, this is the normal behavior...
The dfu-util installed from the ubuntu packages is version 0.5, and
it doesn't have a progress bar nor final status report. You can try
to install v0.7 by hand and add it to you path to have that.
For the red "error" in paparazzi center, it is just misleading the
word dfuERROR as an actual error, which is not the case.
