It is an interesting topic indeed. Do you mind sharing a few more details about the actual GPS board/chip and lisa-l/m ?
We for instance have seen problems with the power supplies of lisa-l but not with lisa-m, and have seen cases where the supersentive 160dBm receivers are more prone to picking up noise than others. We too never came acros any issue with the LPC21 and back then the less sensitive uBlox4-series.
Not contradicting your observations but just to be sure, before blaiming the actual stm32 chip, I would like to hear just a bit more details as it might as well be the board, the clock frequency or gps-type (sensitivity/antenna/board), and in any case the combination.

Yes, right, but with LPC2148 I have NO problems at all in any configuration.
It seems to be an STM32F (Lisa) issue. It is a very good controller, but it such application as UAV, where GPS signal is essential, it fits really bad.
