Hi Gautier,

I tried it with a fresh current checkout and it works. Thank you very much for helping. The weird thing was, using the HMC5883L worked, but using the HMC5843 didn't. It just gave (32,32,32) in this case. I suspect it to be a problem in the size of the clocking capacitor of the HMC5843, when its degaussing.  Just for info I added traces of both, the HMC5843 and the HMC5883L. Next I'll try to get it to work with the booz-Board.

With the latest v3.9 (v3.9.2_testing-26-g527837e), it is working fine. The i2c is sending the request to the ETS baro (which is not connected for me, so I have no reply after that).

What could be the Problem? I used a logic anaylzer, to investigate it further. in the working version, there was data going through the bus. In the new version both lines where high.
