Hi,

Hi sorry for the delayed response to this. We are not planning to produce more
Lisa/L that is correct. Currently we can provide you with Lisa/M 2.0 and
Aspirin 2.1. Lisa/M. This platform is in my personal opinion not only more
compact, providing everything that you would need to control a T-Rex, but also
provides more flexibility to your project.

If you want to do video processing on board I would recommend to use either a
gumstix breakout board or some other ARM boards, like beagle bone, beagle
board, panda board, raspberry pi, or even some Intel based modules that are out
there. In most cases you just would need to wire it to the SPI interface of
Lisa/M to be able to communicate between the two, in the worst case you need a
level shifter adapter between those. We are planning to develop connection
modules in the future but it is currently not the highest priority.

Some more notes on connectivity. You have several interface choices. You still
can connect to Lisa/M with SPI as on Lisa/L or with one of the other interfaces
like UART, I2C or CAN that Lisa/M provides.

I hope this helps you a little with the direction you may take your project.

Cheers Esden
