Hi Chris,

I can't imagine a reason, why they should go insane. The only thing
that could make problems would be the I-parts of the control loops
(but there are not many). But the main question is: Why the hell do
you want to do that? I could imagine, that building something like
that would induce more problems (like crazy control loops or more
complex wiring), than the ones induced by the AP. What happens if your
TX looses range? The AP can handle it, but what does the switch do? I
for myself never experiened an AP that hang up or just didn't work.
But I experienced cases, when the wiring wasn't well and that happens,
if it gets complex.
