Hi.I use the "forwarded" mode not the "broadcasted" one but i need to check the other settings you mentioned as i feel that this might do the trick. The baud rate is 115200 not 9600 so it should work but i feel that either the 9xtend latency is too high and you can probably send data at high speed but not in a random way or the serial data cable is too long (~5m) . I was surprised to see the small Xbee's work fine at 9600 but the mighty 9xtend choking it self at 115200 bps (i will also try it at 9600 bps but i work long hours this period with no spare time )
