Unfortunately, Google does not allow their maps to be used in any external
applications and they will temporarily ban your IP address if they suspect you
are accessing map tiles with unauthorized software. Fortunately, the ban only
lasts a day or two and tiles for each region only need to be downloaded once so
this is not a major issue for most people. Microsoft maps on the other hand,
are open source and not watermarked so maybe some ambitious member will write a
MS maps port someday, but until then just don't download so many tiles at once.

I have been working most of the day on new flight plans and making good
progress. At some point I started seeing Google Map auto fill start acting
up...not filling in all of the background as I would widen my view. Now it has
stopped all together. Do you have any suggestions on how I might get this
running again without a complete install?
Thanks,
