AW: [Paparazzi-devel] Export your flight track as a GoogleEarth path

Pascal,

I have a German program which displays vehicle positions in google earth
based on the UTM coordinates transmitted over the radio.

I think it reloads the .kml file every 10 seconds or so, maybe it can also
go faster? It's done by running a simple webserver on the PC, then
GoogleEarth loads http://127.0.0.1/KML file every few seconds and displays
the info on the map.

Regards,
Ethan

Hi,

a new feature available from the Log Plotter (sw/logalizer/plot): The log
menu
contains a "Export KML path" entry to create a .kml file from your flight
track
(the Tmin and Tmax are taken into account). Then you can load this file in
GoogleEarth to look at it in 3D.

A produced example (a flight at 4400 feet) is available in
      http://pascal.brisset.free.fr/07_06_07__10_43_07:6.kml

--Pascal

PS: Nobody know how to drive Google Earth in real time with remote commands
???
