[Openexr-devel] Static Libs on Linux RH9 (gcc3.2.2)

Hi,

I've built the OpenEXR distribution on a RH9 system using gcc 3.2.2 and 
I'm only getting the .la's.  Is there any way to build the static libs 
as well?
