Hi, Aaron,
that's a new one to me. The only thing I can think of is that you
don't have the C compiler installed. Did you install the Developer
Tools from Apple? If so, which version? What happens when you type
"cc" in the terminal?
I'm happy to help, but in the future, you might want to direct your
questions to address@hidden This way, your question has a
better chance of finding someone who's seen the same problem.

Paul,
I know you have probably been inundated with emails regarding EXR, but
I figured I would write and see if you could help anyway. If you can't,
I fully understand. It's probably not your job to help end users of a
freeware product.
So, here is my issue:
when I run the ./configure command. It runs through a whole bunch of
checks on the computer, and then it gives me the following error
C++ compiler cannot create executables
Although, that probably doesn't help you at all, I was hoping maybe you
had a generic list of things to try. Again this is all contingent upon
whether or not you even help out with this kind of thing.
Thanks for your time,
Aaron Goodmiller
