My setting LD_LIBRARY_PATH is wrong. After correcting this, pkg install of gsl package went well with gsl-2.1 (on 4.0.3 and 4.1.0+). Well, I don't know... perhaps is it our configure / Makefile.in that is to blame? Could you please describe what you were doing when it was going wrong, and what you did then to make it right? I believe that the proper way to handle this would be to have configure options such as --with-gsl-libdir and --with-gsl-includedir, don't you think? |
