Follow-up Comment #5, bug #61744 (project octave):

At the end, I had to quickly look at the m file and also went to matlab online
help to find out what is there.  

For p<input order, the expected outcome is documented on mathworks site.  The
statistics package 1.4.3 is consistent with that description. 

I will not open a bug request.  Thanks.
