Follow-up Comment #12, bug #59018 (project octave):

I purposefully used the variable editor to verify that it seemed to be causing
some issues.    I did not seem to have a issue when I did not use it.    The
variables that were potentially in the editor were matrices or vectors of
double type.    I have some that are in the size of 2048x512 and some that are
1x262144.    The bulk of the matrices are also complex.

I will check those other bug reports to see if they match up.    I did try to
test one out "bug #53004: Variable editor: segfault with very large arrays",
but when I did the x=rand(5000) I made a typo and typed in 50000.   I never
even got a chance to get the next step and try openvar x.    That crashed my
Laptop, and it would not even reboot properly.    It took a couple of hard
power offs, to get things rolling again.
