Follow-up Comment #2, bug #58419 (project octave): Thanks for the info. The reason I'm using gnuplot is that it seems to be something wrong in my distribution (PureOS) with octave plots https://tracker.pureos.net/T906 and gnuplot usually performed better in my system as long as I tested.
