Follow-up Comment #4, bug #57439 (project octave): Imho, we should try to allow calling (at least) Octave core functions in any given order. If that avoids the error, we should move the files. Maybe we should also check if other functions (at least in Octave core) that are "mlock"ed use function handles to private or local(?) functions and evaluate what should be done. The closest we have to a "Release Notes" is probably the "NEWS" file.
