Follow-up Comment #37, bug #57044 (project octave):

Is it only failing if the revision is not present in the local archive and it
cannot find it by pulling from a remote archive?  

But it works properly if the revision is not present in the local archive but
it can access the remote archive to find it?

Or is there some other failure that could happen?
