Follow-up Comment #5, bug #57644 (project octave): Thanks, John for that info. Please, disregard my previous comments on cygwin. That was a different bug I happened to read shortly before. If I correctly understand the gnulib sources, fseeko should be deferring to _fseeki64 on mingw.
