[Nel] about using of directx input 8

Hello ,

There a long time i dont take news about Nel , today i see that we need directx input version 8 to compile snowball or Nel ( see in INSTALL file ).

I wonder because using DirectX 8 seems that Snowball will never more play under WIN NT 4 because we cannot install directx 8 under WIN NT 4.

 

If  i make a mistake all honor for you but If i m right , i m sure there are other API like directx input and so multi  platform of code will be save.
