This is a good idea. Although it would effectively be a menu without a
corresponding prompt; how would that work? Or are there plans for a
tools prompt?

So is this. Although some of them are already aliases in main: Ctrl+\
is bound to Replace, for one.
Aside from the examples both of you mentioned, the go-to-line,
previous-paragraph and next-paragraph functions could probably be moved
out of the search menu and into the tools menu. ^T^T could be
go-to-line, but I'm not sure what keys the other two would use.
