Subject: | [monit] Compiling monit on Solaris9 |
Date: | Wed, 26 Mar 2008 12:03:37 -0000 |
Hello,
I have had some trouble building Monit-4.10.1 on Solaris 9. I have the following ./configure script:
./configure --without-largefiles \
--with-ssl-dir=/usr/local/ssl/lib \
--with-ssl-incl-dir=/usr/local/ssl/include \
--with-ssl-lib-dir=/usr/local/ssl/lib
I do a make && make install and I get a monit in my /usr/local/bin.
When I try to run it:
$ monit -t
I get the following error:
ld.so.1: monit: fatal: libssl.so.0.9.8: open failed: No such file or directory
Killed
I have the library file libssl.so.0.9.8 in /usr/local/ssl/lib.
I have tried setting the --with-ssl-dir option to various other settings such as "/usr/local/ssl" "/usr/local/ssl/bin" etc.
No luck!
Has anyone else had this problem?
Ideas welcome!
Regards,
Duncan Smith
