Hi Martin,

   How far out is the ability to check exit codes from scripts for
   custom monitoring?  This seems like a good candidate for that kind
   of functionality.

   If it's still a ways out, I'd be willing to write a patch to support
   mysql query tests compared against a regex.  That could be particularly
   powerful against queries like 'show status'.
