make sintaxs errors

I've tried to install monit 4.4 beta5 on HP-UX 11i and it's failing.

Configure runs using

./configure --prefix=/home/oracle/monitoroai

..without errors. When I do a "make" I get:

"Make: line 79: syntax error.  Stop."

But on line 79, just there's .

"GRAMMAR         := y.tab.c lex.yy.c"

The ":="  is the reason..but why??

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
