Hi,Yesterday I pushed the update to curl 7.23, and I allowed curl.exe to be installed. I thought it would be nice to have a statically linked curl.exe.
If anybody is wondering why it doesn't seem to work, it turns out this curl version wants a CA .crt file even for insecure URLs. When it doesn't find one, it silently terminates. The easy workaround is to use the "-k, --insecure" option.
This behavior change has nothing to do with mingw-cross-env, but I hope this will help mingw-cross-env users avoid some frustration.
Mark
