Good question re: where is the code. I recall it being online at some point, or being online somewhere; glad you filed the issue! I currently have too many things I'm juggling to be able to do help get the code out, but if you ever email Mike Risse, feel free to CC: me and say I sent you; I've met him a few times through the Meteor community.

I asked where it went, and if any source code is available - https://github.com/rissem/meteorpad/issues/45 - and similarly I notice that while https://madeye.io is still up, no tweets since 2014, so I wonder if they might be persuaded to liberate what they had there too :)
