OK. I see it now. I had to step outside the firewall and do old-fashioned
FTP. Then:
binary
quote type I
get testfile
Now I see each line terminated with <CR><CR><LF>. I agree with you
and Klaus: this is breakage at the server site, and not Lynx's
responsibility to introduce offsetting breakage at the client.
