Please don't try to depend on something called 'control-left arrow' or
even '^V-left arrow'. I know for the ^V-e sequence to edit text edit
areas, I have to type ^V twice and I know others do. It's rather annoying.
I myself would prefer for default behaviors to STOP CHANGING . If it
is a new feature, then of course the default is up for discussion. But
if its a long standing feature, then leaving the default a traditional one
prevents users from being confused...
