This is automated refresh or reload.
For example, when you go to a site, you'll get something saying:
automatic reload in 10 seconds, and when it reloads you're at a different
site.
Or logging onto my wells fargo account, you get a "checking account info"
page, and in lynx have to manually hit control-R to get to the main guts of
the site.
