You should define LYNX_CFG, not LYNX_CFG_FILE. The latter is the
macro to use if you want to defien the location in userdefs.h, it's
a bit inconsistent.
This applies to current 2.8.2 pre-release code, but I don't think
it has changed since 2.8.
