I know that came up more than once, but I guess if it were solved like 
suggested, there would only be more questions as to "why does this and 
that not work as expected" with multiple threads. I say either we make 
it fully work or we leave it like it is.

Of course, any patches truly fixing/implementing this are welcome, bug I 
currently don't have the time to work on this.
