Hi Arun,

Basically you need to write a new spec file and add it into your 
platform's main.lkc.   This would contain the base kernel tarball and 
the patches to go on top.  Note that there's no guarantee that patches 
from an earlier kernel are a) needed, b) would apply to the later sources.
