[Ltib] gdb error

Hello,

 I've compiled gdb for my target environment and am  trying to debug a 
program on my target device.  When I try to run a program from gdb I'm 
getting the following error:

[Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled]
Error while reading shared library symbols:
Cannot find new threads: capability not available

Here is what gdb says when it starts:

mx31# gdb

This GDB was configured as "arm-none-linux-gnueabi".

 Is this a problem with gdb or the program I'm trying to debug?
