I'll push this soon. Just for the record, because I happened to capture
the timings:

/opt/lmi/src/lmi[0]$time make $coefficiency --output-sync=recurse -f 
install_wx.make >../log 2>&1
make $coefficiency --output-sync=recurse -f install_wx.make > ../log 2>&1  
2600.48s user 156.81s system 1342% cpu 3:25.39 total

/opt/lmi/src/lmi[0]$time make $coefficiency --output-sync=recurse -f 
install_wxpdfdoc.make >../log 2>&1
make $coefficiency --output-sync=recurse -f install_wxpdfdoc.make > ../log 2>  
292.75s user 13.14s system 2049% cpu 14.924 total

I rebuilt wxPdfDoc, without updating its source, just in case any
wxWidgets change requires that.
