/lmi/mirror/lmi[0]$date --utc +'%Y-%m-%dT%H:%M:%SZ'; time svn update

Updating '.':

So I was able to retrieve them a blazing sixty times as fast as you
could commit them. Only because I was luckier. This worries me, because
we have a fixed release schedule and must not depend on a flaky server.

Suppose we convert lmi's public repository to git, so today's central
server becomes a "blessed repository". Then even if savannah goes down
for a long time, we could all simply fall back on 'git-send-email' and
'git-am' to stay in sync. What would have been a catastrophe becomes a
minor inconvenience, eh?
