[Linphone-users] LDAP attributes and Contact fields linking |

Hello All,
(be gentle, this is my first post)
I would like to use OpenLDAP and phpLDAPadmin to create address book entries in
the database and then link that LDAP Server to Linphone.
I have used the phpLDAPadmin 'Generic: Address Book Entry (inetOrgPerson)'
Template and successfully added some entries which show up in the Linphone
Search Bar and this works to make a call correctly.
Each entry is made unique in the LDAP by a combination of the 'Common Name
(cn)' and 'Organisation (o)' so that it looks like: 'Joe Bloggs | Bloggs Ltd'
When someone calls from the entry's telephone number they show up on the
Linphone pop-up window as expected.
So far, so good.
However, I would like to know how to link the fields properly, so that when you
bring up the contacts details the field for are pulled from the LDAP database
and shown in the correct Linphone field.
e.g.
LDAP Attribute,Linphone Field
cn,Full Name
mobile,SIP Account
o,Companies
The 'Organisation (o)' field can be referenced by Linphone when you alter the
settings on the LDAP Server config screen:-
Preferences > Advanced > LDAP > server > Parsing
What I want to know is... which OpenLDAP attribute can be used to correctly
parse the data to fill the 'Companies' field in the Linphone Contact?
Thanks,
Paully
