Hello.

What do you mean by "General Setup of LinphoneCore Using Java" ? Do you want to build Java app based on the liblinphone-sdk ?

Our Java wrapper was build for Android, and our maven repository too. It was not tested for a Desktop client in Java, so if you want to do it you may have to some some adjustments by yourself.

If you run two instances of Linphone (the official and your app), you should just make sure that the ports used are not conflicting. I think that this is the only thing to take care of (as far as I know).

The linphone-sdk is available in C/C++.

If you really want to stick with Java, we can eventually either develop your app for you or adapt the Java wrapper for Desktop.

If you interested, do not hesitate to contact our sales teams here.

Hi,

I have actually been using the Linphone “softphone” for a few years now and sending a screenshot of my current settings.

I’ve been digging around and I see the “LinphoneCoreFactory” and other libraries but I’m not sure how to set this up based

on my screenshot?

The questions I have are the following:

  1. What’s the Java library/libraries for setting this up and the necessary functions?  As you can see I already have the SIP address

and SIP Server address, but I’m guessing I need to supply the Linphone PASSWORDS to?

  1.  Is there a Maven package that I can download to do this?
  2. If I already have Linphone running will the code I write conflict with that instance of Linphone?

Thanks,

Rahul
