Re: [Linphone-users] Linphone in phone standby mode

Hi Peio,

I created an account davemannbros and when I tried to validate it with the phone number, it would not accept the SMS 4 digit number - I tried repeatedly.
So I deleted that account and tried again with davidmannbros, and have for the last week tried to validate it with the SMS code which it fails to do. So presumably it still thinks the other account is valid even though it never got authorised.
A message popped up at one point saying that if I validate with this phone number it will automatically de-authorise any other account with that number which is clearly not the case.

So where do we go from here??

Regards

I'm really sorry for the inconvenience. I do my best to reply to most people on the 3 mailing lists. But unfortunately I barely have the time or the experience to answer to all questions...

Our priority is to focus on customer support, because our community can answer some questions on this list.

However, I think that I have an idea about what is causing the problem.

I see in the database two different accounts, one with your phone number, and one named "davidmannbros".

Your phone account has an error with the confirmation key apparently.

How did you create your accounts? Can you describe the process (only with linphone-desktop, linphone-android, website)?

Maybe for the server, the fact the you are activating your account "davidmannbros" with a phone number already used with another account is causing trouble...

Hello.

Sorry for the belated reply.

Please verify that you have disabled battery saving for Linphone (it could cause issues with push notifications).

I'm not sure with starting at phone startup.

Please provide us logs if you can, that would help a lot.

Hello,
I am using linphone on an Samsung cell phone with Android 9 installed.
Once Linphone is started it works fine until the phone is set to standby.
I have activated background mode and starting at phone startup in
advanced options.
Both of them doesn't work for me.
In phone standby mode Linphone does not receive incoming calls and it
does not start with phone startup.
Anyone help?
